A Series of Yes or No questions
Q&A With Shay Each Sunday
A few weeks ago I did a series of this or that questions rather than one long Q&A format as usual. I like switching up the brevity and lightness of posts, as well as mixing writing advice with personal life and personal writing or inspiration, so this week here I am for another series—this time of yes or no questions.
Q: Have you ever broken a bone?
A: Yes, two in my life.
Q: Do you believe in God?
A: Yes.
Q: Do you like football?
A: Not particularly. I don’t really understand it, but I like to play fantasy football and go out with friends for football games. My YA novel is also centered around a football player, so it finds its way into my life.
Q: Do you have a fear of heights?
A: No. I like them.
Q: Do you like shopping?
A: Yes, so much.
Q: Do you like science?
A: I think it’s very cool but totally over my head. I can’t science or math.
Q: Do you currently have a best friend?
A: Not necessarily. I used to have a VERY close best friend. I have a best friend from college. In many ways Pat is my best friend. But my best friend is my sister!
Q: Do you wear glasses?
A: Well, if the question was if I have bad eye sight then, yes. I can’t see anything, but I don’t even know the last time I wore my glasses or where they even are, and they’re definitely not up to date. I put my contacts in first thing in the morning and take them out right before bed everyday.
Q: Do you like chocolate?
A: Yes, lots.
Q: Are you outgoing?
A: Ha. Nooo.
Q: Do you eat breakfast every morning?
A: Yes. And now I drink celery juice every morning, too.
Q: Do you like bright colors?
A: Yup.
Q: Do you have a sibling?
A: Yes! One sister, aka the previously mentioned BFF.
Q: Do you like ice cream?
A: Probably my favorite dessert.
Q: Do you play video games?
A: No.
Q: Do you like roller coasters?
A: Used to love them, but have a bit of a sensitive system now. I really like water roller coasters.
Q: Do you like thunder storms?
A: As long as I’m not outside in them.
Q: Do you believe in ghosts?
A: Yes.
Q: Do you take toiletries from hotels?
A: Yes, I put them in the guest bathroom.
Q: Do you keep a journal/diary?
A: No.
Q: Do you cut coupons and then never use them?
A: Haha, yes.
Q: Do you have freckles?
A: Scattered about, but not a ton.
Q: Do you always smile for pictures?
A: Not necessarily, but usually.
Q: Do you ever count your steps when you walk?
A: Yeah.
Q: Ever gotten a speeding ticket?
A: Nope. *knocks on wood*
Q: Ever won a spelling bee?
A: As a matter of fact, I have.
Q: Do you make your bed every morning?
A: Yes.
Q: Drink at least one coffee a day?
A: Lol, AT LEAST.
Q: Do you like the sound of wind chimes?
A: Yes.
Q: Believe in life on other planets/galaxy?
A: Definitely.
Q: Do you outline your novels?
A: No. I kind of wish, but I also enjoy the process of finding out what’s going to happen as I’m writing it.
